One morning 10 years ago, I woke up with a simple realization: the Kevin Smith State Farm Agency was in the wrong location. We opened our office in Chicago in 2008, 15 years ago, with the intention to help reshape the insurance industry. We wanted to give insurance the creative edge it so badly needed. Over the course of four years, we became nationally recognized for being hip, innovative, creative and excellent at what we do through our online presence. And yet, we were still working in a generic insurance office outfitted with IKEA furniture. It was time to move.

In January 2012, we relocated to a new office, a brand-new loft-style space in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Chicago. Everything from our remodel to the art on the walls was intentional. We created a space that improves collaboration with our employees and customers. But our success didn’t start with our space and it won’t end there either. The nice thing about the Kevin Smith State Farm Agency is our unique culture. We wanted a way to share it with our employees, potential candidates and anyone who comes in contact with our agency.
